Introducing Edit Instruct: Transform Your Images via Text Prompts
You can now transform any image directly inside Image Studio - swap backgrounds, restyle scenes, tweak outfits or props, change lighting/mood, and make multi-step refinements with simple text prompts. Available to all users!
Quickly create different shots of your scene, re-posing your Actors. Prompt: “Show the couple dancing”.
What Edit Instruct is great at:
- You can iterate: "Make it dusk," "Add soft rim light," "Replace background with a cozy cafe," etc.
- Precise edits from text + image (no masks required - specify which element to change).
- Style transfer & composition (blend inspiration/reference images into your shot).
- Iterative edits (edit your images step by step with instructions).
- Modify Graphics and Text (reproduce logos, edit text in images and more).

Note on Actors support
Actor Compatibility: You can start from any existing image containing your Actor and make edits freely. However, you cannot yet reference Actors directly in prompts (such as typing @Name without an input image) - this feature is still in development.
🚀 Getting Started
To start editing in Image Studio you can:
- Go to Instruct Edit in Image Studio → open or upload an image → type what you want changed → Generate.
- Click the Edit Icon in Gallery, or Image Details view.
